Simply doesnt work

I find the number of 5 star reviews for Cyber Dust to be suspicious. Its an OK app but not worthy of 5 star reviews (that sound like they were written by people with a vested interest). Cyber Dust has always been a bit glitchy. Previous versions frequently crashed, but fortunately this one doesnt seem to do that as much. However, it does seem to freeze up. I can send a message and then open the app an hour later and have it tell me that I just sent a message 1 minute ago. When I force close the app and open it again it will then finally update (and show all the messages that have since come in but didnt notify me about). Wish theyd have fixed that instead of adding a bunch of animated emojis that are absolutely awful. I also wish that the app would allow you to see messages for the full amount of time even if you close the conversation screen. For example, lets say a message comes in and will disappear 10 seconds after I start reading it. If I accidentally close the screen after 2 seconds I cant go back in and see the message for another 8 seconds...it is just gone. The problem with this is that it is very easy to close the screen just when a message comes in, meaning you have to ask the person to resend whatever they just sent. On the other hand, you dont want to leave the conversation screen open because if you get distracted and look away messages will appear and disappear without you ever seeing them. I recommend Cyber Dust but users should be aware that it has its problems and be wary of these five star reviews.

This app is not very user friendly. For example if your in the middle of reading a "blast" and someone texts you, you cant swipe down to reply or else whatever youre reading disappears forever. Its a bit difficult to figure out how to work this app at first, and if you follow many people be prepared to experience random crashes. I love the concept of this app, but I wish they would fix the above issues, and I also wish I could customize certain aspects of the app like the interface and look/fonts of the blasts I read.

Gets stuck at selecting my birthday

It just always crashes on the newest iOs and my iphone 5s. I cant even read the messages from friends because immediately crashes when i open them and then is everything gone. Why is this app such a crap?!

More people need to know

Downloaded app and was prompted to create a new user account. Input email address and it was accepted. Next step is choose username. It accepts my username with a green check mark then a box pops up saying email address already in use but it doesnt give u a way to go back and input a diff one. Wtf.

The app works perfectly, login and register is a bit tricky for people who are inexperienced with the application but overall its 5/5

First off, the UI design is amazing. Flows well and makes a lot of sense. Where the app gets 5 stars is where all other chat apps fail. CyberDust gives you anonymity while still messaging everyone in your friends list. You can just be yourself when using CyberDust. Isnt that what it should be about?

Its a great way to spread a message or photo or promote anything you want.... It puts a personal touch to social media... Like a text, and tweet all at once... Feels cool. Xoxo TaliaRusso1 on cyber dust ;)

Its okay, good UI. But no one will join as people are not looking for snapchat alternatives. We are content.
