Dust - a safer place to text App revisa

I used to be able to copy and paste links in dust but after an update about 2 years ago that function went away making dust useless for me...now I can just text or attach a picture...used to use it all the time but now rarely use it...some friends still do so it's the only reason I occasionally go on...I Find it useless now

You don’t get a notification when you send a text? Or get a text

my first profile pic stayed forever even when i chose another profile pic and when i wrote something in the parlor section and then close account to start over without erasing the stuff from the parlor section the app crashed and remained unusable

Used to be great. Now I can no longer send pictures. Tried to contact support and still no help

Fantastic way to communicate. Feels safer.

The App is ok. What I don’t like is you do not get a notice that you have a pending Chat or a Chat response. I have to go in app constantly to see if I got a reply to a Chat.

whenever you swipe up and view your recent apps, you can still screenshot the messages without it notifying the other person. i suggest blurring the app or add a screen it once it’s closed so this is unable to happen. this would make the app perfect.

Screen shots are available, replaying pics and video is available. They think it’s secure cause they delete your message after 24 hours. So do most apps! Horrible excuse for safe chatting. Had to give 1 star to submit this.

Used to work fine, then it stopped.

I’ve been message them for weeks with an issue. There are different alert sounds but none of them work. No one has responded to me or fixed the problem!

Love your app. But can’t copy from other place and “paste “ at your app. Thanks !

It used to send me notifications when I got a message. It no longer does. All of my permissions are. Also I can’t even find it in my app settings to do so. Also it won’t let me rate it 0/5. But I guess it does do what it says and sends messages that deletes so I guess 1/2star

Just random people keep sending me messages

This is the only app I use for private conversations. It’s very reliable, and way safer than basic messaging apps.

I have been using this app since it came out. I recently upgraded my phone and now I can’t sign back in. I reached out to customer support 10 days ago and have not gotten a response. Terrible.

Mark Cuban actually text you and gives inspiration everyday! Who wouldn't want him close by! The owners of cyberdust make you feel like part of a family! I feel like I personally know so many busy famous people they all treat you like friends! I must get 300 text a day!

Deletes after 24 hours doesn’t collect data like other never once seen an ad overall 10/10. I’d say just download and delete Facebook messenger!!

I’ve been using this app for years now…we’re all grown ups here, so why can’t we turn off notifications if we want to? Bring notifications back! I keep missing messages and reply much too late…

This app was great until the latest update 1 month ago. Then I couldn’t sent pictures or videos. Then the amount of text sent as once went down. It eventually got to where we could only send 2 words at a time and now it doesn’t work at all so I deleted it.

This app went down hill two years ago when they changed their emblem. I tried to give it another chance and now when I click upgrade it just goes back to the App Store saying open dust and repeats the cycle. One star because you USED to work properly. I miss the old days. Download wicker ME instead it’s not AS bad as this new Dust is.

There’s nobody on this app

Previously I would see a banner notification when I received a Dust message. Am I missing something?

Sending pictures through the app is way too complicated....can’t just easily hit the camera icon, scroll through your pics, and send. Have way too many steps

Need notifications

I ha ent used it widely as yet but it seems to work well and it’s good to believe that messages are private.

I’m one of the original dusters. But it will not let me login using my old ID. So I’ve lost all of my connections. And it’s not allowing me to blast anything. What happened to what was one of the most amazing platforms out there?!

The newest version will not let me update photos. They fail every time. I’m on the latest iOS. Help!

sign up doesn’t work

Ever sense it updated it will not let me log in or even create a new account if I wanted to!! I use this app for a lot of business and would appreciate if we can get this fixed ASAP.

I can’t log in. I’ve taken the app off and put back on numerous times. Won’t let you set up new account. I’m not sure what’s going on but they need to fix this problem ASAP.

Do not download this app until they have a later update than 6.0.6. All it does is freeze with the updated iOS.

Unable to sign on after IOS 14 update. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.

A friend suggested this app but I’ve tried a 100 times on two different phones but the app will just freeze after I try to create an account. Not much use of an app that doesn’t want to be used lol

The inability to use some emoji format is discouraging; example Birmoji.

I don’t want to be warned about the other party taking screen shots! I want an app that disallows screen shots to be taken in the first place! I found the Confide App much better because not only does it not allow screenshots only one line at a time is allowed to be read and it disappears within seconds. I’m an attorney I need to be absolutely sure the other person can’t take screenshots and even if they attempt to take a photo with another phone, the messages disappear way to quick to bother. One only has a few seconds and once you start reading you can’t pause.

If you value your privacy I highly recommend Signal. They’re a non-profit.

Can’t even open it.

I do like how it's like Snapchat to a certain extent. However, there are some things that I find a little annoying. I'm a person who takes more videos than I do pictures, some of those videos I would like to share with people through this app but I can't. I also talk a lot so I like sending voice notes, this app does not allow that. I would really love to be able to send videos and voice notes through the app. THANK YOU!

Privacy apps like this should offer to register with just an email. No phone numbers. Deleted before even using it.
